The Fenn family called the Graver-Driscoll House home for a brief period between 1940 and 1946. J. Grant and Grace Fenn purchased the property on the eve of World War II, making it a busy gathering place for their children, Grant and Helen. In August of 1943, the family celebrated Helen’s wedding to Lt. Alden “Buzz” Ritter. Helen maintained a strong fondness for the house long after the family moved, a connection her descendants honor today. Thanks to their generosity, the Ridge Historical Society is proud to share this gallery of photographs, offering a rare glimpse into daily life at our headquarters over eighty years ago.
